Happy Holidays!

It's beginning to look a lot like... well, you know.

Watch for updates over the next few days. Perhaps too many. In between the writing of cards and the decorating of cookies, I'm going to be catching the blog up on the last few weeks.

November took my breath away. It was an incredible sprint to turkey day, including a complete start-to-finish basement renovation project, a complete (if not completely artful) 51,256 word haunted house novel, and a pretty successful first holiday in the new house. Not to mention three kids who need parenting and the rest of life's bits and pieces.

My favorite part of the year-end holidays is the sense of reflection combined with some extra time for storytelling. These cold, dark days, with their roaring fires and steaming beverages, are good for that, at least.
